Greatest Nigerian students! I know most of you all must have washed your ears to grab gossip, but not today all I want to do is use this medium to announce to you all on the upcoming UI (University of Ibadan) 2015 Election Date which was re-scheduled to hold on Saturday 4th of July 2015 while the students representative council election will hold on Saturday 11th of July 2015.
This is time for campaign fever, all the Jega on campus this is time to show your hand work, political fathers want be are you all ready?
NOTE: All students are enjoined to participate actively in the exercise. The elections shall take place in the halls of residence.
All prospective voters are expected to cast their votes in their respective halls of residence between 9.00am and 4.00pm.
According to information coming from the authorities, it was announced that voters shall be accredited using the voters’ register and be identified by their names, as indicated on their university identity card/library card (faculty, departmental or association identity card is not acceptable).
The press night will hold in trenchard hall at 3.00pm on Wednesday, 1 July, 2015.
In preparation for the elections, members of the university community are expected to note that the speech night will hold at 3.00pm on Friday, 3 July, 2015 at the niser car park.
Staff and students are hereby enjoined to reserve the niser car park for the purpose on this day.
