Delta State Civil Service 2015 Competitive Examination



MyeduNigeria wish to inform that general public and the good people of Delta state Nigeria that the 2014/2015 Competitive Examination for entry into the Administrative and Special Departmental Cadres in the Delta State Civil Service will be held on Thursday 29 and Friday, 30th January, 2015.

2. The following posts are open for competitions:-


i. Administrative Officer, Grade II, SGL. 08

ii. Auditor Grade II SGL. 08

iii. Accountant Grade II, SGL. 08

iv. Registrar of Cooperative Societies Grade II, SGL. 08

v. Produce Officer Grade II, SGL. 08

vi. Inspector of Taxes Grade II, SGL. 08


3. To be eligible for the examination, candidates should possess a degree in any of the following discipline

Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, other Social Sciences,Liberal Arts, Banking and Finance, Mathematics, Economics Commerce, Business Administration and Agriculture.


4. The purpose of the written examination is not to test candidates in the subject areas of their degrees, but to test their ability to think clearly. To understand and write English Language and also their knowledge of current affairs, particularly African affairs.


5. Interested applicants are advised to obtain entry forms from the Department of Recruitment and Promotions, Civil Service Commission, No. 6, Life and Power Christian Assembly Street, Off Maryam Babangida Way Asaba, on payment of a non-refundable fee of N7, 000:00 (Seven Thousand Naira) only in Bank Draft to the


BANK: Civil Service Commission’s Unity


Bank Account No. 0010840393 for onward remittance to ASCON, less administrative expenses.


6. The closing date for the return of completed forms is Wednesday 17th December, 2014. All completed form muse be accompanied with



  1. four (4) passport-size photographs and two (2) sets of academic credentials,

  2. certificate of local government of origin,

  3. marriage certificate (where necessary), etc.

  4. Entry forms submitted after the closing date will not be processed.


All Prospective candidates who are not civil servants should note that passing the examination is not a guarantee for automatic employment into the Delta State Civil Service.
